Using tomatoes picked just before a couple of icy days, we made two preserves. Either of these would be great on turkey sandwiches!
Kasundi; an Indian style spice paste, made with ripe tomatoes, onions, mango, mustard seeds and more. We love it on grilled fish, but any meat would work just as well. Or add a hit of flavor to your veggie burger.
Green Tomato Chutney; a very Anglo preserve, made with green tomatoes, onions and raisins. Great on sandwiches or cheese boards.
